Civico Quattro
I'm not sure about you, but the busyness that surrounds this time of year is reaching fever pitch! The end of School and Kindy is fast approaching, and I have yet to finish my Christmas shopping. I'm also frantically researching and making decisions relating to our house which is being built. There really aren't enough hours in the day!
We're currently deciding on the bathroom details. My tile lady has sourced some gorgeous wall tiles from Italy, and I've fallen in love with a very expensive range of basins. Both are probably completely outside of what we can afford, but a girl can dream right? On the topic of Italy, I recently came across Civico Quattro, a creative studio based in Vicenza. Orietta Marcon, the founder, designs interiors and homewares. She also creates beautiful set designs for both the interior and fashion industries. The image above is one of my favourites. Black and white, brick, wood and vintage touches. What's not to love?
Neutral colour palettes, relaxed styling and loads of rustic charm make these spaces look so inviting.
I love the quirky details, like empty picture frames and wall hung chairs. It also goes to show that you don't need to spend a lot of money to make a home beautiful. Creativity goes a long way.
These bedrooms have darker, muted colour palettes, and the purple provides a gorgeous pop of colour. I'm also partial to vintage suitcases, like the ones above.
Piles of books and magazines provide a homely feel, while cute details like the framed pictures with lamps, and little wall-mounted boxes add personality. Crates painted white have been cleverly made into furniture. I love how the sofa base has been used for magazine storage!
You can check out more of Civico Quattro's work over here.
