This lovely home, which I found via Bolig Magasinet, is located in Vanløse, Copenhagen. There are many aspects of this classic villa that stand out, especially the original features like built in shelving and large windows. The new kitchen's slick black cabinetry contrasts beautifully with the white walls and grey floors. Pops of bright colour can be seen in every room with vibrant pieces of art and lovely homewares from Danish brands Hay and House Doctor. Design classics sit alongside second-hand finds like the Verner Panton dining chairs and yellow 'S' found in an abandoned basement.
Quirky touches like a wall of Polaroid photos and 'hopscotch' floor sticker make this house a fun, family home.
I love how the owner of this house has a thing for yellow. She believes it gives the interior of her home an edge, and judging by these yellow painted floors, I'd have to agree!
