This blog which I recently discovered via Pinterest is such a delight. Sara Woodrow or Smäm as she is known is a Swedish art director and freelance illustrator, and has been blogging since 2005. As well as her artwork, she shares some amazing DIY ideas, and photography of her gorgeous Scandi-style home. Here she lives with her English husband who she refers to as 'Englishman' and their cute-as-a-button little boy, Alfie.
When this post come through on Bloglovin yesterday, my heart skipped a beat. You know me and crosses, and the garland is such a lovely idea for little ones.
How cute is Alfie's room? I love the colour palette, little table and chairs, cloud bedding and cube storage.
I'd like to copy this idea. A simple tin can, used to store paintbrushes is given a lick of neon pink paint to liven up a monochrome workspace.
Smäm is such a talented artist. This post showcases some of her favourite works, from 2012.
These hand-made geometric paper bowls are so cute, and provide a great place to store small objects.
This cute yellow steel stool was a recent purchase for the home.
Another DIY project, painted legs make this drawing table in Smäm's office pop. I love this sketch of model/actor Milla Jovovich.
