I first heard about this exciting collaboration when I met Nadia Sakey, who I recently wrote a feature on. If you missed it, take a look here. Nadia, an interior designer who specialises in unique wall coverings is responsible for introducing Bleux, a Sydney based graphic design studio to New Zealand. Nadia contacted me yesterday to say that the David Trubridge designs have now been launched and I'm delighted to be able to share them with you.
Bleux has translated a collection of David's hand drawn sketches into a range of applications for use as wall coverings and glass textures. The resulting designs are an interesting mix of the bold and colourful Australian way, with a more muted New Zealand feel; organic forms, earthly tones and references to the New Zealand landscape. David says the collaboration has been “an engaging exercise in ‘reaching out’ and working with a company across the Tasman. The results speak for themselves: a range of patterns that not only tell the tale of their origins, but sparkle with the input of fresh ideas from this alliance with bleux.”

The stunning designs are set to enhance both commercial and residential interiors. Beautifully styled, these images show how the new designs compliment Trubridge’s furniture and lighting. Links below the images will take you through to the Bleux website where you can view the designs in various colourways.
Crystalia
Meander
Sand Lines
Sola
Coralia
Aren't they gorgeous? I love them all but if I had to pick, I think I'd go with Coralia or Crystalia in those beautiful pastel shades. Which one is your favourite?
