Homes to Inspire | A Scandinavian Treasure

I came across this delightful home today which is in Tonsberg, Norway. The owners Anette and Fredrik are industrial designers, and have done a lovely job of renovating what was once an old, dilapidated house in an overgrown apple orchard without even a bathroom or kitchen!

I love the way they have mixed old with new, including loads of beautiful Scandinavian mid-century furniture. How stunning are those pendant lights? In true Scandi style, they painted every wall white but then had a change of heart. To avoid looking too much like a Summer cabin they re-painted some in shades of grey and even charcoal. As much as I love white, I think this looks amazing especially will all the pops of bright colour. Loving that Missoni towel in the bathroom!
