The Journey | Mahina Candles Giveaway!

The Journey is an exciting new interiors store set up by design, retail and merchandising expert Gabrielle Becroft, who most recently managed the well loved Ponsonby store Republic Home. The opening of The Journey stores, one on Auckland's North Shore and a pop up store in Newmarket is a dream come true for Gabrielle. Offering a carefully selected range of furniture and homewares, from Dutch colonial antiques to fun and colourful accessories, every piece is unique and inspiring. Additional services include working alongside interior designers, house consultations, and nationwide delivery.

The two shops are located at 1/11 Hurstmere Rd, Takapuna and 3/6 Kent St, Newmarket.

I first heard about The Journey through my dear friend Natalie Walsh, the founder of Mahina Candles in Wellington. When Nat said they would be stocking her candles, I knew Gabrielle must have great taste. These candles are divine! Made in NZ from the finest botanical waxes, they are hand poured with exquisite fragrances from Grasse, France.

"We want you to be transplanted at the mere hint of our verdant aromatics, coaxed into a fragrant reverie of faraway places, dreams of halcyon summers or balmy nights in the tropics. Whatever the occasion we think you will find a candle to suit your mood."

Mahina, named after the luna deity of the pacific also means moon or moonlight. How fitting after the incredible eclipse yesterday! What's more, Natalie has very kindly offered a reader giveaway!
To enter the draw visit Mahina Candles, choose which fragrance you'd like to win and tell me in the comments below. For an extra entry, share to Facebook (make sure you've 'liked' my page first) or Twitter, and let me know that you've done so in the comments.

The winner will be chosen via Random.org and announced on Thursday, 22nd November.

Update: The winner has been announced - congratulations Vicky Marshall! You have won a beautiful White Night Mahina candle. Thanks to everyone who entered, and a massive thank you to Natalie at Mahina Candles for the giveaway.
